When planning and Gipfelsessions Festival, we placed great importance to sustainability and environmental friendliness. We want the festival to leave as small an ecological footprint as possible.
Ski resort Snow Space Salzburg
Snow Space Salzburg is committed to sustainable operations in many areas. The goal is climate neutrality by the 2025/26 season. For this purpose, a concept was developed that looks at the ecology in the ski area, takes technical environmental protection into account and also considers the guest behavior. After all, most emissions arise when ski tourists arrive and depart.
Fuertermore, the snow groomer fleet is fueled with HVO fuels since 2023/24 (42% less emissions), the ski resort uses 100% green electricity and much more.

We also work with the environmental association “Worldtrash.foundation”, which pays attention to the improper disposal of cigarette butts and garbage at events. In order to raise awareness among our guests, there will be some activities:

The foodtruck from Der.Genuss.Specht is located right next to the afterparty location at the Eule Apres-Ski Bar in Alpendorf. It offers delicious streetfood made from regional organic products – vegan options also available!
Brauerei Schwarzach - regional beer supplier
We get or beer from the bewery in the neighbouring village, the Brauerei Schwarzach. It sources their carefully selected and natural ingredients from regional sources, which we are committed to in the spirit of sustainability.
